My taiwan moss started turning brown after I tied them to my driftwood. I checked with Chan from NA (whom I bought the moss from). According to him, if there's still part of it that's green, it's ok. The moss is acclimatizing. I presume the same theory applies to X'mas moss as well.

Moss is pretty tough... leave it for a week or so and see if anything grows.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Taiwan moss can withstand high temperatures... I know coz I've a bunch in my 6.5 gallon and it's survived high temps. of 31 - 32°C....

But X-mas moss is a different case, it prefers cooler waters of about 26 - 28°C (even the 28°C is pushing it)

And try to shade it more and cut the hours of light it gets, from wat I learned : Moss requires dark hours to grow properly....

    zac08,

you mean your moss didn't die on you in high temp? How's the shape of your moss? Does it still look like the taiwan moss we see in the LFS (i.e a bit like the X'mas moss) or does it look long and stringy?
