Did you wash filter? If you did, did you wash it with tank water or tap water?

I recommmend that you get yourself a NO2 test kit if you don't own one....dumping such large amount of shrimps at one shot could well cause your tank to go back to recycling again as the bacteria could not cope with the sudden increase in bioload.

Cut and paste this form and fill as much as you can. It could be anything, bateria bloom, green water, dirt etc. Maybe you can describe the cloudiness, like how cloudy or the colour of the water compared to a white background. Post a picture is best. Can't help you much with so limited info, sorry.
    Cheers!!

Most of the time, we experience some cloudiness in new tanks... usually at the 1~2 month mark. Do not fret.

Just maintain your water change. The tank should mature and the cloudiness will go away. No need to do anything special.

Actually, I do not exactly know what is the reason. IME, cloudiness will come and go at the early stages of the tank.

It is important to introduce the livestock a few at a time. It gives the bacteria colony time to settle and be established in the substrate and filter.

Keep up with the water change and I guess you should be fine.

yup, i agree with BClee.. livestock shld be introduced slowly, a few each time.. but this will depend on the tank size.. (bigger tank react differently, as the area of bacteria colony is wider)
