Methods to cool down temperature inside tank water?

Hi all,

I notice that my tank water temperature is always at 31 degree celsius and I would like to bring it down.

I am using both a overhead and canister filter which is attached with a UV sterilizer.

Is it normal to get such high temperature?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

yes, it is normal room temperature. using fan to cool the water is the cheapest way to do it.

Some other ways are using plastic bottles top up with aged water an put in the freezer. Then put the bottle of ice into tank. it will only work well for tank larger than 2 feet. Smaller tank using this method will cause the fauna in the tank get temperature shock.

What are you keeping? if the live stock is not bother about the high temperature. then just leave it.

Use the fan 10cmX10 cm with 220VAC or 110 VAC to down temperature, remember to install the fan how to blow through the tank from the left to the right side.
