    what plants are recommended for a 1.5 ft tank? choices for foreground,mid ground and background. thanks

    Try E.tennellus for foreground...
    Midground...u can use Dwarf Saggs...
    As for background..u may want to try some red plants to help enhance the tank look...Try something like Luwidiga Arcuata...

    Hi, you could try Elatine trianda aka APP, for foreground, looks really nice. And for mid ground, Crassula Helmsi. But IME, these plants mentioned require co2 and sufficient lights for good growth.

    In general, choices would depend on your set up, low light, high light? Co2, no Co2?
    If you're lazy like me , you can go for java ferns and java moss on wood and e.tennellus for foreground.
