    Hi,

As I was preparing my new purchased plants for planting in the tank,I found red worms amongst the roots. They are thin and about 1- 2 inches long and look like earthworms.

What are they and should I add them into my tank or dispose of them? Btw, my fishes seem to like them.

Actually they do look like blood worms, just that I am unsure if I should introduce them together with the plants into my tank.

Ermm... never take the chance I'd remove them rather than regret later... the problem with worms is not just them but the parasites that come free with them...
