    finally i clear up my old tank and just put in new soil/gravel. But i got a problem, tree's root i got to use as main piece of the tank refuse to sink, it just float....
    How to make it stays under the water?

    u can boiled them in a big pot or soak them with hot water.. these mangrove roots dun stink that easily

    After boiling them and soaking them, and they still refuse to sink, you can place them in the tank, in it's intended place, and use a stone/rock to hold them down. This may stain the water due to the tannic being released, if any left, but eventually, it will wont float. Or if you have time, you can silicone them on to a appropriate size of arcylic.

    i had that problem too!
    boiled it then threw it into the tank...
    it floated for 1 day before sinking...

    Thank everybody, after boiling it for few hours, it finally sinks....
