Should be Pogostemon stellatus.
Should be Pogostemon stellatus.
Is not Pogostemon Stellatus, Pogostemon Stellatus leaves is thinner and longer. Pogostemon Stellatus is not easy to find locally. It should be Limnophila Aromatica, they are more commonly available locally.

More likely to be Limnophila hippuroides.

There's jagged tooth(not too obvious) near the top if you look carefully. At different condition the jagged tooth will be different also.
Another way to identify them is looking at the top part. Pogostemon Stellatus leaves is so much thinner, where as Limnophila Aromatica is much wider.
Limnophila hippuroides top part leaf is much in purple colour where as Limnophila Aromatica is more towards maroon colour like EvolutionZ pic. It maybe also Limnophila hippuroides, as Limnophila plants may look similar in different condition.
Below pictures from aquaticplantcentral.
Limnophila Aromatica
Pogostemon Stellatus = Eusteralis Stellata

i have this exact same plant. when i first got it from the LFS it was with roundish green leaves and was pretty short and stumpy. And when i grew them in my hi tech tank new leaves grew out thin and dense and only the top part of the plant which is very near to the light source is reddish.. (is yours the same Bro Evo?)
does this plant turn all red with proper usage of ferts, co2 and high lights?
i've been dosing lots of lushgrow micro + aqua, injecting with more than enough co2 (2-3bps in a 1ft five-plan tank and co2 drop checker is showing yellow) and lighting is at 7wpg and still only the top part is reddish. (i'll try to take a pic when i get home)
will be heading down to a LFS to get seachem iron for my red plants that doesn't seem to be red. ( should i? )
pls correct me if i'm wrong
Red plants do need small dosage of Iron, otherwise the plant will turn green or not that red
mine do have jaggered leaves.. grow pretty fast also..
hmmmm now i feel really stupid...
i looked through this thread again and realise bro evo was talking about the plant in the back.
sorry it is not the plant i have in my tank. not even similar i will start another thread for identification
pls correct me if i'm wrong
the plant i have is not the same or similar one bro evo has.
if you are still interested to know, i got it from a LFS in bedok reservoir. it is not a "plant shop" but they just happen to have a few plants for sale.
i think some shops do have red plants for sale at times maybe you want to check out any LFS around your proximity?
pls correct me if i'm wrong
sis, don't have to feel stupid.. i think i did not clearly indicate which one i need a ID.. those greener thinner leaves are didiplis diandra.
