New shipment new season. Got 6 and selected those hi yellow with minimal spots or markings. This is my favorite. Phone camera, so focus a bit off, fish darkens only slightly after settling down.

Very nice piece you have, care to update us, because I ever came across but afraid that could be white tank effect, so never bought any last time. Thank.

Only the stripes or markings will darken once fish settles. But they will not grow new stripes or markings anymore...I like to choose those with minimal markings...you get a very yellow golden fish.

    Another taken by phone:

Be tempted! They are really nice - like the golden yellow hue. After settling down look exactly like those in 328 except for a lot lesser markings.

    Re: New arrivals: L134

Now that my oldest F1 L134 have begun to develop their adult colors I see great variations in the amount of spots and stripes.
It is quite possible that some particularly yellow specimens had been hand picked from a large set of specimens?

    Re: New arrivals: L134

That is an unusual color variation of L134. I took this photo of my L134 in their breeding tank during a time when I had to move some other fish into the tank when i had to take down an old make shift stand to set up a steel stand that holds 6-40 gal breeder tanks. I didn't wash the water spots off before taking the photo but at least it shows one of my typical breeder L134 and some of their fry. You can see an example of 3 different age groups of L134 fry in the photo Those are some of my F1 Sturisoma aureum fry in the front right and that is a Red Turquoise Discus juveniles.
