Don't ever put in Rams. 2 of them shared 25 shrimps in 3 days! Yummy
you can try mosquito rasboras or endlers
crs maybe not so good.. cherries should be fine i guess
I would not recommend any fish with a mouth big enough for a shrimplet or shrimp to fit in.
Boraras Brigattae is the only species I can vouch for, though some batches of Galaxy are better behaved than others.
Otos are shrimp safe
i had otos + cherry bards + neo tetras + guppies + 2 mini puffers. the shrimps bred like crazy but their population was controlled by the puffers. puffers will try to catch the baby shrimps but they're either well hidden or they jet backwards very fast such that the mini puffers cant catch them. eventually will get eaten but i suppose i have around 30% of babies reaching adulthood and by then they're too big to be eaten.
so this is plant talk? were talking shrimps here.
most fish when hungry WILL eat anything that fits in their mouth.

Clown killies are safe with cherries... tried and tested... and Scarlet Badis are definitely safe with shrimp... saw LFS stock them directly with CRS...
...I'm da in da deep blue ...
i keep my shrimps with ruby tetra and ember...no fatality nor biting incident noticed in my 3ft tank. all are doing fine. Shrimps are healthy and moving all over the tank and reproducing.
I just introduced 4 white cloud mountain minnows to the tank and seems ok with the shrimps now.
