Alan, I dunno how you manage to get your web up on Homex using Frontpage. I'm also a Frontpage user, but from what I know, Homex does not support frontpage extensions leh. Care to teach me how to upload frontpage to homex?

so the publishing option doesnt work on frontpage?

  6. #6
    Hi Nick,

Err... I'm new to building a homepage too. I had problems initially but with friends' help I manage to get it up.

What I did was to use the sample (there must be a index.html file as required by homex)under fontpage and edit the pages and once ready, use the File - Publish Web option.

Then specify ftp://homex.coolconnect.com under the location to publish.
Note : It will prompt u for userid and password.

Btw this is just sharing not teaching hor.

    Regards

Ok, will try this. Initially I dunno whether Homex can support Frontpage extensions or not. That's why most of my homepages all hosted on geocities. But I hate their pop-ups. If Homex is able to support Frontpage, then I'll definitely go for Homex.

    Hi Alan,

Very nice hue of red plants you got there.

Where did you get the Ammannia Gracilis? I got something that looks like it but I think it is Nesaea crassicaulis which I got from Ah Pek.

    Merry Christmas!

    Hi juggler,

I got this plants from Pet Safari a few weeks ago, I think they are Ammannia Gracilis as they are a faster grower and their leaves are bigger and it don't have yellow-green stems.

According to Tropica, Nesaea crassicaulis is similar to Amania species and is often mistaken for them. Can you show me your photo on your plant that you got from Ah Pek? So that we can compare and know the difference.

I have a photo posted somewhere under the topic "Please Help To ID Plant".

    Merry Xmas!![] []

    Alan,

It could be Ammania senegalensis, which is a bit redder and has more elongated leaves.

    Hi budak,

You may be correct, Ammania senegalensis, where can I see it? I could not find it in Tropica & Dennerle site. Thank you.

    Hi David,

I am using TMG after weekly water changed and also E15 as and when required. Healthy??[:0] [:0] My MMs was melting away when a few week ago ... but dunno why it stop a few days back and they are growing. After the white spot outbreak, I had increase temp and added salt... now the DD are not doing so well .. like shrink. Maybe they are adjusting to water condition changed, shall wait to see if they will get better.

if u look at Amano concept for creating depth, he uses 3 rocks position in a triangular shape, creating distance between the infront and back rock... oso u can use plants.. from shortest to tallest... u need to play around

  20. #20
Thanks Simon! After my white spot thing is over, I will play around with Micranthemum Umbrosum, Micranthemum Micranthemoides, Blyxa Japonica and maybe some new plants.
