food contamination?
could be something wrong with a recent batch of fish food
Hey folks...
Went to check on my fish today, and saw 2 corys, my small hoplo, and my butterfly fish, dead...
Temp 76*F, no ammonia, no nitrite, nitrate about 30ppm, you see any problem?
There are no signs of illness or infection...
Tank is planted, and all other fish are happy as haarry...
Last added fish was a female dwarf gourami, about 3 days ago, she is fine...
Any ideas?
whatever it is, i dont want it killing all my other fish...
Mez
p.s. i do not use salt...
Currently keeping many wild betta species and other anabantoids.

...Bloodworm (frozen) was fed the previous day...but wouldn't that harm the other fish too?

The title below my name does not make me a guru...listen at your own risk!...
I suspect that the culprit could be the female gurami that u intro. She might have certain disease before but recovered and having the immunity but those fishes in your tank doesn't have which might cause their death.----------------
