Stone / Rock

Has any one try those rock / stone as per attached picture for the planted tank? It is like those big big bolders that we can find on park.

Any side effact?

You cant just put roadside stone to your tank.. They will release toxins to your water and it will kill your plants and fishes as well.. Its better to get it in aquariums.. Cheers

It's not that bad, but you'll need to give the stones a good scrub and soak in boiling water.

I think these are granite. should be quite ok. I use them before also.

calcium in the granite might leech into your water thus increasing GH. Good to know this if you will be keeping sensitive faunas

look quite nice but i prefer the original stone, look more natural
