Why don't you get a black background wallpaper? It would definitely look nicer with a black background...sort of bring out the contrast.

A black background certainly give the feel of 'space' to your tank.

Pardon me, but i think there is no focus in your scaping. And you have placed too many kinds of fine-leave plants together (in the center) which doesn't brings the beauty of each out.

    Nicholas,

Hey...I think you should go get some black sticker to stick around the back of the tank. If you don't know where to get em.. you can alwiz PM me...

Anyway, I suggest you to use some rosette plants and use the stem plants sparingly. It kinda loses the focus....meaning there is no focal point now...

    Juz my 2 sens...

Hi guys, thanks for the comments.
yea, the fine leave plants were excess, I didnt know what to do with them, so I just planted them in[]. I also thought that the red plants were an overkill. Not much of a contrast.
Will definitely look out for a rosette plant.
That black sticker is Omaya paper eh?

Budget backing paper is the non-adhesive one and just use sticky tape...

    oyama paper $2 per ft.

I've got 4ft worth with me right now. $4 if you want..

although I suggest silicon + black styrofoam. more appealing

Looks good but I don't really like the black styrofoam taking up the already small space.
