    hi folks

I am thinking of revamping my small 1.5 ft tank.

I will use a small 12w light and a JBL fertiliser beneath the substrate, but with NO CO2 injection.

What plants do u think are suitable for this type of tank?

Given no CO2 injection, how many hrs do u think I should keep the light on, do I need to put additional fertilisers?

    thanks

plant choice would be very limited.
you could only go with low lighting plants like anubias, java moss, java fern, crypts.

I think Tom Barr mention it before...dunno if it is in this forum. Without CO2 injection, Carbon is the limiting nutrient hence uptake would not be fast..no need to dose KNO3 and PO4 (needed in a high light and CO2 injected tank)..just feed more to fishes to supplement those 2 nutrient and dose liquid fert as and when needed.
