hi, i think you still need to plant the root into the gravel.
1 by 1? will it grow downwards by itself?
thanks
yo, dnsfpl. Planting HC requires alot of work. I personally use daiso mini scissor and tweezers. First cut the horizontal roots to separate the plant, then just plant them into the soil, 5-6 plantlets into maybe a 20 cent coin patch.
Repeat for all.
From the looks of your 1ft? Its going to be a busy night for you

i am trying this method, will the roots secure to the soil by itself?
or i have to plant them slowly? holy cow
this is my office setup...bye bye lunch time
I've tried the lazy method before also >_>
almost all the plants melted after 2 weeks. no choice but to do it the hard way.. You might want to also consider this method recommended by Tom Barr.

my 2nd attempt, slightly better?
Actually if you're planning to grow it emmersed for now, then I think what you have done so far could be sufficient.
Oh, the rare old Whale, mid storm and gale. In his ocean home will be. A giant in might, where might is right. And King of the boundless sea.
thanks...hope to see good results in 2 weeks time
by the way is 18 hours of pl 36w lighting too much for HC? hope to rush them mature faster
will reduce to 6 hours after adding water
cheers
