Try to target about 20ppm of K. Should not worry to much about blocking of Ca with this level.

But viewing it from another angle...
Your plants might be limited by K. When K is added, your plant growth improve... this may result in greater demand of Ca.

Just watch your plants to determine whether you need extra Ca.

No there is no K test kits readily available for hobbyists. Just go by calculating the dosage.

You might Flourish K too expensive to dose at 20ppm per week. Some of us are using Potassium Sulphate (K2SO4). 1kg for less then $10 can dose 30ppm/week to a 600 litre (6'x2'x2') tank for 6 months.

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:

    oke.. thanks..

it is written as the dosage of 1ml per 40 l will raise the K by 1mg/L... so how do i convert it to ppm. I have a 20 gallons tank. Thanks a lot...

Doing a simple search of the Internet will tell you:
    1 mg/l = 1ppm
It is also in the "Glossary" thread in the Aquatic FAQ.

Next time, try a simple search on the internet or AQ first. You'll get your answer sooner and you may find out more then what the forumers might be able to tell you (for more complicated questions).
