can u tell us what kinda cichlids u wanna keep before we suggest what rock to reccomend u ?

because like what u see now, we`re hving a guessing game and thats wasting time. bla bla bla..

soo juz shoot.. if yr're interested in apistos.. get slates or watever u call it. if im not wrong, $3 per kg. at keong seong.. What/where ? Keong Seong ? Check da lfs list..

now now.. if yr're interested in keeping african cichlid.. try using granite, or.. limestone ? or lava rock ? With a coral chip substrate. to buffer the pH ?

disclaimer: what i say might be wrong or correct, pls don flame me ! okay !

    cheers matey
    Thanks & Regards,
    Trevor

ok , its 5.06am in the morning and i'm suffering from insomnia so here goes..
grey rocks - hougang st21 flourist. (whole row of flourist..)
other places to get grey rocks will be xinhu at jln kelulut, genX at clementi. thats all i can think of.
coral rocks - soonheng88 at bukit timah... comes in crates so its cheaper than getting $6 per kg outside. xinhu also stocks coral rocks.
final place for rocks will be at H2O kembangan.

you might wana check out the flourist at hougang st21 first , the rocks there are the cheapest in Singapore... (so far as so i've heard).

all the best in your search for rocks. []

    Guys,
I forget what rock it is, maybe thick slate, but Vinz used a very nice rock in his Tanganyikan Cichlid tank, maybe it is wise to email him and ask..
