when plants grow and reach their maximum height, what happens next?

do they branch out more (for stem plants)? do they stop growing??

    just curious...

Do plants ever die if you take care of it well? I was thinking the other day... those stemmed plants that you cut and replant, won't they carry on living like forever? They just keep growing and growing! Trimmed my cabomba like 3 days back and now they're very much taller again... will they ever like stop growing and stay a certain height? Sorry for this silly post. Just curious... hehe []
Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

Yes. They shd live forever if we take care of them well. Probably can pass on down to our children and grandchildren...

After close to 3 years, I still have the H.polysperma from Budak after so many trimmings. My E.bleheri is still there as well after sending off baby plantlets and itself splitting into 4 more plants.

I guess the plants will accompany you as long as your passion can sustain them. If only they could talk ...
