perhaps 6x36 may be a better wattage as oppose to 4x36. all you need is enough gravel to make a 1 inch average of your base fert. In another words, its better to spend on base fert then gravel....
I am going to grow glosso, java moss, java fern, windelow fern, anubias nana, anubias bateri,e. tenellus and such. The tank is a 4 by 1.5 by 1.5. Tell me if any of these is unsuitable of insufficient

4)40kg of europet Aqua Decor (recommended to me by petmart)

The title below my name does not make me a guru...listen at your own risk!...
Hi, what about a co2 set? The price of a co2 set (cylinder, solenoid(manual regulator will be cheaper), glass diffuser, bubble counter) starts from $150+ I think.

just an observation of my part, aqua decor gravel is kinda sharp and definitely not as clean as i would like it to be ... lonestar is a much better choice since they are almost the same and lonestar is really clean!!! ... no need to wash also can use
i noticed this cos i have lots of corydoras catfish and these fish cannot take sharp gravel ... so my aqua decor is now not used ... anyone wants?
... always look at the bright side of life
i keep loaches and use 20 kg of aqua decor, 5kg of crushed corals, 2 kg of pea gravel. No problem. Though washing is a problem. It is so dirty that I bled trying to wash.
