I got this moss. Was told it is spiky moss., but it look more like java moss. Check internet and found it could be stringy moss. So is this Java, another version of spiky or stringy moss.

I have some Java moss and compare with it and seems to be different. The way it grow more like stringy moss. So instead of spiky moss I got stringy moss. Check with the bro I pusrchased it from, he say it is spiky moss. I think there could be miss identity of moss. As stringy moss does look spiky when it grow.
Now just have to wait and see how it will grow.

Haha, i guess waiting for it to grow to a more mature form will help. Anchoring it to a wood or mesh will bring out the features of the moss more nicely though. .

    Cheers!

Doesn't looks like Java moss or Stringy moss. The 'branches' are uniformed unlike the tell tale characteristics of either Java or Stringy moss.
Could be a rather malnourished spiky moss. Grow it well and see.
