There are fosil wood which most people mistaken them for rocks. Those look very nice but quite pricy. Be careful with them as some maybe quite sharp and may injure fishes (esp Discus)
    Cheers!!

Rocks in Planted Tank look very naturally.... Amano puts them to good use with a touch of Japanese Zen concept...

Normally rocks are sold by weight, if I'm not wrong, it ranges between $5-$10 per kg.

consider fossil wood very carefully before buy....they look very good at the beginning but once the algae gets into the grain lines.....they look super awful and no SAE, ottos, or yamatoes are able to clean them out....the only whay is to remove them for bleaching and that is going to upset the tank pretty much......

if its just rocks, remember to get those that are lime free or you tank is gonna suffer from high PH values unless a malawi tank is the consideration.

lighter than what you will expect of a rock of this size, feels more "hollow" ...the knock knock test..

feels "siap siap" when you scrap it with nail..like limestone. chips easily..

Those wood fossils are known as petrified wood. They are pretty sharp on their edges so consider hard before getting them for the aquaria!
