    Hi there,

After using bigboy aquarium lights for one year plus, the perspex plastic sheet has turned yellow with age.

Does anyone know where can I get similar plastic sheets to replace the old ones? I dun think acrylic is suitable as it needs to be rather heat resistant so that under the several hours of light does not warp the plastic.

I heard that cut to size persplex can be costly...?

If they are not too close to the water, try this. Cut the perspex into parts that will cover the electrical connections, leaving most of the tube uncovered. Make sure they are long enough to overlap the ends of the tubes so that if the tubes popout of their holders, they won't drop in the water.

Hope you get what I trying to describe.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Yeah I can understd what u were trying to say thanks!

Anyway sometimes I dun have to look too far. Actually I found where perspex could be obtained, just downstairs of my place. FYI, the shop is located in Sgoon North Blk 151 at one corner where they sell heavy hardware machinery stuff (near Kopi Shop) facing the new multi-storey carpark.

But its expensive I think for my Bigboy 4ft lights the perspex need would cost $12 to 15 per pc...

    Is it reasonable?
