    Hi Everyone,

I have asked this question before, and this is a refinement of the one I asked before. Ok few months back Iw as asking how come my rotala is growing sideways and producing a lot of nodes. So Some fellow members told me it's cause of the lighting being too high. So waht I did was move my T5 in front and voila it really did grow straight up. Then recently, I was looking ta other people's tank and wondering how come their rotala and ludwigia is sooo red while mine is only orange at best. So Iw as told that lighting is a factor. So again I moved the light back. And within a few days I can see my plants turning a lot redder. But then the old problem again came back. I saw my ludwigia bunch up so much that it has like 7 to 8 nodes from one stem. So here comes my question.

I was thinking about it and I came up with this theory. Can I move my lights in front and when the plants have grown upwards, I then move it back? Haha. I really dun know how else to do it right haha! Thanks!

Give you a Hint : Green plants that are Red, are actually not so healthy Green plants.

    can go read about it

basically.. shift the lights so they grow straight then lower the No3. But you do this to the inherent risk of things going haywire.

HAha, cause I want redder plants. And mainly also cause of the fact that the plant is messy. Like I say each stem branches out to like 4 5 nodes, realyt oo bushy!
