    This is my new tank set up for pleco and could anyone help to ID the pleco just bought. If this pleco L134?

    Is it ok for new tank set up PH at 7.4? If not, any advice to reduce the PH level?

    I am very new to pleco , this is not L134 is a kind of Hypan.
    my guess is male L333.(i may be wrong)

    hi, very neat set up! think your crs experience definately help to make a nice scape. looks like L333 to me too

    Thanks both. Indeed it looks like L333. I have just bought L134 from C328. Think L virus got deepen each day.

    Lower your PH.... 7.0 is just nice. 6.5 is good for breeding as I can see your male is ready, quickly go get 2-3 female about 3 inches in size to have a breeding colony. Temperature about 28-30 will be good. Lastly, look at the sky and pray it rain when you have the female.....

    Definitely not L134. L134 is so pretty! Btw, better shots is needed. Now it looks like many L-number

    Warning: Do not try to alter the pH manually. As tank matures, pH will ultimately drop.
