im new to pressurized CO2 cylinder and just got it top up with CO2 yesterday. but one question is, do i open up the cylinder valve totally?

here is what I learn from googling:

1)connect the regulator/soleniod to the CO2 cylinder and tighten it with a wrench

2)make sure the regulator is close up. turn on the CO2 cylinder TOTALLY
and check regulator for the pressure in it. (mine is 2L tank and they are saying should read around 1000-1200 PSI) <=== correct?

    3) connect the tubing from the regulator to a reactor/diffuser

    4) adjust the BPS by using the regulator nob.

    the end..........

is this the correct way of setting up a presurrized CO2 cylinder? im so afraid of the regulator flying out from the cylinder. 1000 PSI is no joke pressure man.

someone please guide me along? great thanks in advance!!

For me once I turn on fully or almost. Adjust your BPS with needle valve. The regulator nob could be for regulating pressure. Whether it is 1L or 10L the pressure in the tank is about 1000 PSI (depending on ambient temperature).
