    Wow Samuel,

First attempt already so nice. The plants look lush and healthy, especially the redness of your rotala macrandra. Looks like you are focusing more on the macrandra than the altum angels .The planting is very organised. Keep up the good work [:] .

    Samuel,

8x 36 watts lamps would have taken up all your tank top space. How do you cool down your tank?

Good and cost effective way of fertilizing.

Hi guys, thank you for the encouragment. Before I start doing my tank I did study how pple here done up the tank so it more or less give me some idea on how I should start and I bought a couple of books on plant like tropical and oriental to select those plant that i want and lastly go to the farm and LFS to search for them. As for the cooling my tank I currently using 12AC fan to maintain the water temp at ard 27 to 28 degrees celius.

I must say you are a shining example to all here. Doing your homework and research before getting your hands wet. It all paid off with a beautiful tank! Keep it up and share with us the progress in future. Cheers!

Do you have picture to share on how you squeeze your 12 cooling fans among the 12x36 watts? And how big are your fans?

    That's cool.

I guess those are DC fans (with adaptors?). What's the power consumption for each set? How much each cost? Do you turn them on 24 hrs a day?

Regarding the CO2 reactor, is there any reason that you place it after UV light and not before?

    Thanks.

It range from $40 to $80 per set it come in different sizes, 2, 4 and 6 per set. I on them as long as my lights are on abt 10hrs per day. As fgr the Co2 reactor no particular reason just follow the advice from some guys here
