Spider ID

Found this firece-looking spider in my backyard in India. No Idea about the ID, so does nayone here know what species this is? Thanks.

I don't know what species that is, but it is probably a Crab Spider of some sort. You might need to get a guidebook on Indian spiders if there's one available.

Edit: From a Google search on South Indian spiders, it's possibly Camaricus formosus Thorell, 1887.
