Justjoin, you will need to know the CO2 concentration that is available to the plants. With DIY CO2, things can get out of hand especially with CO2 concentration dropping drastically if you don't keep up with bottle changes. Get the CO2 right first, then measure your NO3 and PO4 level with test kits...

The estimative dosing method should only commence when the CO2 level is iron out. Keep at 20-30ppm during lighting period.
Do 50% water change and add the following:
NO3: 5-10ppm (Get it within this range) (Dose slightly less than 1/4 tsp of KNO3)
PO4: 0.5-1ppm (same as NO3) (Can dose 2-3 rice grains of KH2PO4 2-3times per week)
    CO2: 20-30ppm
Potassium: 20-30ppm (Dose only after water change)
    GH: 3dGH and above
    Traces: 5ml (2-3times per week)
