I would like to keep them myself and want to ask, is it difficult to keep them alive?
    Cheers,

    Re: Green Neons

Green Neon Tetras are my favorite Paracheirodon species.
I bought my first Green Neons about 40 years ago and I presently have 24 of them.
They don't get quite as large as Neon Tetras and they are much smaller than Cardinals. I often keep them with wild Discus in planted display tanks. They do well in warm water I think they are a bit hardier than Cardinal Tetras. They are very undemanding and have a special charm all their own. I find them much more interesting than Cardinals.
They are harder to find than Neons and Cardinals but I highly recommend buying a school whenever you get the chance.
Old fish breeder. SA Dwarf Cichlids, Hypancistrus sp L260, L333 and Peckoltia L134 breeder. Also Sturisoma, Dwarf Corydoras spp, wild Discus and Killiefish. Like breeding Characins and wild Betta spp too.
