Wow... 18" or more tweezers are not readily available in the market (maybe dun have at all). The ones that LFS have are 25mm long (9&quot which I think is good for planting.

May I know why you need such long tweezers?
    Cheers!!

    Hi Sherwin,

Tank is 32in deep. Planting is now a nightmare and getting your armpits while trying to replant a bit of hair grass is becoming a nightmare. Hence, the search is now on for a long tweezer. Do you happen to know where we can get the AMano or Amano style tweezers shown in his catalog ?

Maybe you can invest in a snorkling kit to do planting.[]

    Hi,

I'm waiting for replies from a lady selling hospital/surgical tools. Trying to get a towel forceps. Maybe u can try asking any medical tools supplier. As far as I know, surgical steel doesn't rust at all(they might have all sorts of weird equipment, she told me there's an extra long forceps but it's for micro operation and cost a few hundred dollars) but it might cost abit on your pocket.
    Regards,

I doubt a tweezer 18" long is practical in reality. How can it have the power to grib? One thing crossed my mind though, you can use the tool meant for gripping chacoal[] . A 32" deep tank? Wonder what kind of light is use?

    Hi

Tks all for suggesting different sources for the tweezers. I'm using MH lights for the tank. My substrate at the front of the tank is 3in and 5 in at the back.

Actually can also do your planting and trimmings when water is half-filled or during water change. Easier to move around with less resistance from the water.

    Hi

Agree but this gets to be a problem when you only want to plant or relocate on an adhoc basis.
