    Hi,

Beginner at planted tanks here, am experiencing some difficulties inserting dwarf hair grass into ADA base soil. Some of them tend to float up after a while. Can anyone advise on the proper technique? I tried to use the dry method, but now after the water was filled, some of the plants started floating.

    Many thanks!

    Re: Planting Dwarf hairgrass

Well... Add a layer or ADA powder sand, but if you already have it, use the pincer things you can find in LFS for aquatic planting, and plant deeper into subtrate. If you plan on using dry start method make sure the water level when you are doing this is below the subtrate. Also try doing the dry start method for a longer period of time.
    Cheers,
    JJ
