the plants turn yellowish likely due to lack of iron. But then my knowledge is also very limited hopefully other more experienced hobbyist can shed some light.
I am experiencing problems with red plants.
since that my parents always buy red plants even though i asked them not to.
Anyways, my red plants always ended up yellowish or more to green. Especially the new shoots!
Is that a good thing?
What should i do to keep its redness?

Most details about your aquarium will help. what kind of light, substrate etc.
Apparently limiting nitrate helps turn plants redder. haven't tried it myself.
uhm.
i do not know what kind of light my tank is.
the model of the tank is jebo R1300(180L)
and i use pebbles because back then my dad add the pebbles. however i just added some gravel..etc and CO2 difusser
all i know for sure that my light may not be bright enough. it is inside somesort of casing. so to change the light means opening the whole thing so it should be troublesome.
i'll post the pictures soon

it is normal for red plant to turn green if not enough light.
you need to post your tank dimension, light wattage, what substrate you use, fertilizer dosing, etc
