The link below have a good explanation on the difference between xmas moss and taiwan moss.
By the way java moss looks totally diff from xmas moss.
Xmas moss on the other hand looks quite similar to taiwan moss, the difference is the shape of the fronds.
The lfs either have no knowledge about mosses or tryin to cheat u to make u buy those mosses.

places that have xmas moss = genx, bioplast, nature(limited only when he prunes his own tank).

places that have taiwan moss = petmart, heisenberg, nature

places that I know have java = c328

furthermore bioplast(aka system and control) seems to have "hdb moss"

Bioplast got these cute little "pine" (don't know how else to describe) growwing from a mesh, about 5mm tall, Ah Tan says he also doesn't know what it is, but looks quite interesting.

You can classify hdb moss into 3-rm moss, 4-rm moss, 5-rm moss or executive moss...[] [] []

I'm quite sure Sam Yick at United Square has the "hdb moss" in their show tank facing the driveway. It looked like the ones I saw at Bioplast..

Sam's call that X'mas moss... diff from what the other X'mas moss. Joey Chua (their planted tank spec) claimed he brought that back from Germany.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
