    Hi guys,

I'm asking the same old questions again. I've just got a 5 litre CO2 cylinder from Sing Swee Bee and was wondering what I can add in. From what I know, I need to get a regulater, a solenoid and a needle valve. Do I have other options? I had an 2litre set which has only a regulater. So I was thinking if I can just add a solenoid without any regulater or needle valve. Is it possible?

If not, I need to get those stuffs. I think I'll be better off with commercial stuffs cos I believe it'll be cheaper and more durable than those from LFS. But the problem is I dunno what brand to buy and which company to find. Any reccomendations from you experts?
    Regards,
    Brigitte

Why don't you check with Sing Swee Bee? I think they stock on regulator, solenoid valves,etc..Should have some in their showroom. But, that's from memory as my last trip there was 4 yrs back. So, well, check it out.

for your 5l tank, you need a regulator with solenoid and needle valve
    these normally come in sets
nature aquarium or petmart or bioplast will be happy to set you up
i prefer the taiwan brand from petmart, mine are 1+ yrs old and running fine

for the 2l tank, expect to have to upgrade the regulator
you can bring it to bioplast and see if the solenoid they have is compatible
don't have very high hopes though
you need a 2 stage regulator to hotwire a solenoid to it
