where to get value for money CO2 system

Hi,

Any recommendation on where to get value for money CO2 system? NA better or Teo?

What is the resale value of a CO2 system (i.e. rough estimate in term of %)?

I am thinking of buying one to replace my diy CO2.

eh... i can't tell you exactly where... but i like petmart
cos they have the entire set there in aluminium and i have like 600+ points there too
i remember exchanging the solenoid + regulator one for one because it was leaking (needle valve loose) and ben was pretty friendly about it
not sure what the service there is like nowadays, haven't been there a long time

resale value? i remember marie selling hers for a cutthroat slash 130 sgd
expect more like 180 []
but that's what i think, not sure of market value now

I read about some members of the forum having some problem with JBL electric regulator solenoids.... is it really that unreliable?

Also, 2.5 kg cylinder refer to the liquid CO2 weight or plus the cylinder's weight? What is the weight of a 2.5kg cylinder?

Go Nature Aquarium... A 5L CO2 tank only cost $120 + Manual Regulator only $30... Buy a Solenoid regulator only $130 (I think)... Total $250 Worth the $$$!

Seen other place selling a Tiny tank (1.25 litre Coke Bottle) + Solenoid @ $240

the was a discussion regarding the article about diy co2 set.
all the essential parts were discussed and where to get them.
but the article was written a few years ago, when co2 set prices were sky high.
so if you diy your co2 set, you may not save much but you'll get the satisfaction of making one.
