Few days back saw a programe on TV MOBILE, they interviewed someone from alfs. That guy says "you have to be at least 1.7plus then can do planted tank"
That means short people can't have this hobby?

I've heard a lot of silly stuff from LFSes but this one takes the cake... sigh.

Loupgarou, I'm sorry, you're gonna have to drop this hobby.

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

And your arm has to be at least 1.6 metre long to reach to the gravel to plant the plants....

Conclusion : A 1.7m tall guy with a 1.6 metre long arm that looks like a gorilla. []

I heard the 12ft tank in Pet Safari was design and built for self-maintained/regulating because the owner cannot find qualified people taller than 2 metres to maintain it.[]

Seriously, I wonder how is that tank maintained. Using toes? dive in? Anyone has seen how it was done?

75 cm or less is fine. But I've had 100cm tanks and they are a PITA.
Tweezers and tongs and getting your face wet.

If you are small enough, All you need is someone to hold your feet while you don a snorkel and mask.

BFG: sure or not? I dont rem you being that tall?? maybe on a bad hair day, then when the hair sicks up, adds a few more cm? []

well I think maybe very short pple can keep planted tanks with 1m high gravel, so don't have to reach so low! [] anyhow the real prerequisite for keeping planted tank isn't height, its how strong your back is. my back always hurts like hell after major prunings.

At least you didn't mistake the thawed brine cup for the very similar water cup next to your tank
Tank water is pretty good compared to that.
Good thing I don't use live black worms.
