Adrian Tappin's new book on Rainbowfishes is a hugemongous compendium of 493 pages replete with colour pictures of flora, habitat and the fishes themselves (from the Home of the Rainbowfish archive)
It also has an introduction section on geology, geography and biogeography of the Sunda and Sahul shelf regions. If you never realise we are living in the middle of a subcontinent the size of India, only 12,000 years ago, you will learn about it in this book too!
But there's a catch, its FREE!!! how can such a gem be free? well it is and all you have to do is download it below, be patient it is only 55MB.

Thanks for the link Datuk Choy. Adrian's site has always been the no.1 source of information on Rainbows. This book is just the icing on the top.
