hi i brought some yamato today and put them in my small planted tank..
after a few hrs they r going crazy swimming and jumping on the surface of the water.. i have no idea wat is going on and they appear to be montionless and turning white.. i fear the worse.. but have i done something wrong? wat r they sensitive with?

the fishes that i brought today and my malayar shrimps are ok and running along fine, all appear to be very healthy and eating fine.. but the yamato are hay wire with no sign i can tell wat's wrong..

wat is the ideal conditions that they r kept? my water is slightly blackish water with pH at 6.3~6.5, temp at 28°C

    thanks for the help..

most imprt is the climatisation procedure.. other than that, they r sensitive to high nitrate and temp... seeing them swimming around is normal when u first introduce them to the tank, as long as u dun see them lying down then its fine.. if u happen to find yr yamato lying sidewards or u think its having diffculities, remove them, place them in a small container with tap water..

Yes, I've realised too that when yamato jump out and then dry on the floor, it turns red color. Why huh? [:0]
