    Hi Bros and Sis,

I'm planning to get a pair glass lily pipe (inlet/out) for my setup which I will connect in my Eheim 2215. My tank size is about 35 gal.(us). I hope someone could advice me about their pros and con, price if possible (just pm me), and which LFS is selling them. So, It would be a lot easier for me to hunt them down. Also, if there is an existing thread regarding this topic, It'll be a lot better if someone could show me the link. Thanks a lot in advice,

    Regards
    Lawrence

    pros - pretty ( transparent )
will decrease oily surface ( will create swirls )

cons - break easily ( if you mis handle it )
hard to clean algra build up, restrict flow rate ( can be done using strong detergent )

all my tank with lily pipe, not original though . I like it because it does not restrain the flow compare to original rain pipe. Rain pipe will eat up your head pressure, if you are using eheim, probably OK but if other china brand, it will effect your flow rate.

Hey Robert, what is the brand of the lily pipe you are using? Is it's durable?

I guess they'll look all the same once there are place in the tank. Right? The only question now is their quality? Ok, i'll try to hunt them down and compare. Chances are I might also settle to a cheap one since I've got a lot of other aquarium stuff to buy. thank,

Each ANS lily pipe mouth angle is different, that will affect the whirpool create also. Some tube is tilted at certain angle when you place the suction on.
