Hi, anyone has experience with Hailea and Rena brand airpumps? Which is quieter and a better price? I need one that allows the amount of airflow to be adjusted. And where can I get them? Pls advise. Thanx ! []

    Hello atossg

Can try using Ocean Free Beetle. Relatively quiet not much of a humming noise. Quite cheap also. There is a dial that u can adjust the rate of the airflow.
Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

Thanx guys! Got a Hailea already and it is working quietly behind the scene now! Happy with it!

Saw the Rena but it was way to expensive. 4X the price of my Hailea! Can't afford that. Heart pain ah![]

you can try putting soft rubber under the feets of the air pump.
may reduce noise caused by vibrating diaphram.

Yup..rubber pad do nicely. I am using San1 Ben3 8000 pump, japanese pump and very quiet. Hee Hee. []

Another one is not operation the NS8000, more powerful, slightly noisier..and vibrates a lot when its at low setting. Well, u can guess the noise resound in the living during the night when its at high setting. [] Its a japanese brand pump too. Unfortuantely I can't read Japanese.

Astro 8000 is the noisiest of them all. Much higher magnetic properties..bad for electronic equipments.

    Beetle is nice. [:]
