    it would be difficult to comment as you did not mention the flowrate of the filter and the exact dimension of your tank..

    Yes, its suitable if it's a typical 2ft tank. However, your bio-load cannot be too high as there isn't much filter media. Better if it's planted.

    I tnk if u got $80 to spend. Get a Eheim 2213.Eden($20) is 240l/hr max. A bit too small. Mayb suitable for 1 to 1.5 ft tank. Can't keep too much fish then. Hav to keep cleaning.
