    Hi,

I am new to CO2 and was wondering if anyone could suggest a good CO2 set for a 2ft (14.15 Gallon) tank and roughly how much it would cost me?

Is the Nano Co2 set from MizuWorld good enough?

Suggestions and advice are greatly appreciated

    I would suggest you get a 3.5L or a 5L Pressurized Co2, with a regulator.

If budget is a constraint, you can get a manual regulator, it should be around $30. It is quite tedious to close and open it, and fine tune everyday, so for my manual regulator, given your tank is a 2 feet tank, I would set it to 2 bubbles per second (2bps), and leave it 24/7. That should last you roughtly 4 months.

You can get a solenoid regulator for around $160 if you are not on budget, you can set a timer to it, and it will be automatically on and off for you.

Top up for 3.5L or 5L Co2 tank is around $20 ($+-5). Not sure if the smaller co2 set can be topped up, not sure if ADA Co2 set can be topped up.

    Cheers, Christophe

Thanks for the information. MizuWorld did mention that the Nano CO2 set (1L) can be refilled but I am just concerned about making more trips to the LFS for refills. The set they offer seems tempting for me as it fits my space constraints i have in my room but i do not want to rush into things and want to get more feedback before i make a purchase.

more trips quite likely, and refill of small is around the same price as the big one (3.5/5l)
