    Hi,
    I just bought HC from Y618. it is in 1 wool patch form. not those like pot. should i remove the cotton or cut the the patch into small small patch and plant?

    What i did was to cut the entire piece into smaller slabs, then plant those slabs. I think that was the planting method Tropica recommended, but of course it's up to you lah.

    If you're uncomfortable with the wool being there, you can remove it and plant the plantlets individually, but it's just more tedious. Not to mention more stressful for the plants.

    i have bad experience with HC on wool.

    Firstly there snail and secondly there earthworm.

    i planting now. i also feel frustating. looks like it gonna melt alot infected with BBA.

    Probably CO2 problem. Looking at your signature, are you using DIY CO2 for your HC tank? You might want to invest in a proper CO2 system, or supplement your DIY CO2 with excel.
