as suggested. either ceramic shaft is broken or air bubbles in the canister. try switching it on and off a few times to purge the air bubbles. another possibility might be the propellor is not turning in the correct direction, turn on and off to verfiy this as well. cheers.

    Hi Bro,

yeah, check your shaft, it might be broken. You can take out the propeller and verify it.

or air lock ~~, try open up the cover, then put it back and close your tap valve at the outlet and open it again to release the air, or SHAKE It

Or take to NA to help you fix it if the shaft propeller is broken... cheap cheap , should cost you below sgd35 i think hmm... I repair mine last few month ago :P

does your filter still have the buzzing sound?
you can try removing the power plug from the socket and swap the direction before plugging in again. some times this helps to reduce/eliminate the 50hz buzz.

    Dear all,

    Thanks for the advise.

The problem was that I put a sponge on the inlet to prevent shrimplets from being suck into it. As the sponge is clotted up and thus cuasing the blockage.

    Cheers

try using a fine mesh instead. should work better than a sponge.

bro, do you mean the sponge got caught in the impeller or it was "full"
Try using file netting or a slightly more coarse sponge, too fine of a sponge fills up too fast.
