hi Ti Weng, u can get the double control tap and adjust to ur favourite flow but i dun think would do good as the motor might got problem. alternatively, u can sell ur 2215 to me and get a 2213.. haha. joking abt the selling part.
bro, extend your rainbar to reach the full length of the tank. that way the water will diffuse out through more holes hence lower pressure. else, use a small hand drill to enlarge the holes in the rain bar just a little bigger. larger rainbar holes would also lower the pressure of the water output.
Yecch!
is your tank planted tank or bare tank? if planted especially with stem plant 2215 would be just nice. I use 2215 on my 2x1x1.2ft tank.
Get the quick disconect valve, can be use to reduce the flow as well as handy for filter maintenance
If you reduce the flow rate using valves, only reduce the outlet side and not the inlet side. Reducing inlet may cause damage to the motor.
That being said, I use a 2215 on my 45x30x36cm tank with lily pipes and find it so-so for flow, certainly not a tornado
thank you for the advices. I tried turning the rainbar to face in and it worked. the flow is reduced.
