LDA08 Ancistraus claro Spawn

hi dudes. I haven't been posting my spawns for quite a while but here is one of my favourite Pleco that spawned recently.

I recieved a couple of LDA08 a few mths ago and recently moved them to my new fish room. These fellows are sneaky
and usually do not come out in the open. But the males are starting to show nice whitish spots after they were moved
into a lighter tone substrate. Before i was keeping them on black substrate and they looked really dull in colour.

Anyway it was a few days ago when i saw a fungused egg out in the open. I took my torch light to look for more
and like the other spawns i see the daddy guarding the eggs in his cave but this time the eggs were all stuck to the
top of the cave.

Enough of talk.. here are the pictures that i could snap up without disturbing the fishes too much.

Congrats! Can you share just what's the difference between LDA08 and L309? From your pictures, they seem to look similar. I've 2 adult male L309 and am currently looking in vain for its females.

Puffer dude. i haven seen a live L309 before but with reference from planetcatfish i believe LDA08 has a rounder head and L309 has a longer nose-like head.
Also when i flipped through my aqualog book its stated L309 is a baryancistrus sp. (not sure to believe the book or planetcatfish)

anyway most of my LDA08 has complicated patterns but they keep hiding and the only pictures i could shoot was of this piece which had the more defined
spotted pattern who is alway not hiding. When there is a chance i will try to show more pictures of the LDA alpha male. He's really a charmer.

I cant seem to capture nice shots of the wigglers development and my other Lda08s.

Theese small fellows hide forever and only comes out to eat when its dark but here are some pictures i took duirng my absence from my thread.
