have some problem uploading the pictures at normal size , seem like a limit on pictures uploading , had to delete past threads pics before posting up , yes water are running below the tank , have a fluval internal filter pumping water into the ios (filling it up with bio-home/mr aqua cr rings) hence flowing back into the main tank thru a small opening below the ios

Do you have hiding areas for the fish? I couldn't tell how's the flow rate of the water just by looking at the picts and the filteration in place. I think once fish is introduced, it would be different story, as food and poopoo are introduced. Still possible to think and make changes at this stage.

haven't really transfer the fish yet ,still cycling ,the bog wood should have plenty of space to hide . also want to get two water lettuce to put into the two compartment of ios to reduce nitrate,also to plant more in the water area .

I actually got something like the right hand side of your structure in mind only more complex. Eddy call it an alien structure ^^"...looking at your one. I look and relook. so far about 5 times just today. hee.

3ft internal filter just means weekly maint. If it is up to the job. I will still go for ext. filter for 3ft plus a int. filter. My 3ft used to have a eheim + Oto 800, one ext. one int. filter. 3 weeks maint. cycle. Got a DIY rainbow bar near water surface to distribute the flow. But got create pockets of hidding area for fish to rest.

after seeing eddy planting water lily , i decided to put mine in too , amazing growth , can see all the new leaves sprouting out

Ha ha..don't worry about that, since it haven't materialised. I need to see more inorder to draw the inspiration on others and improve on it. I am dismantling the pipes at home first. After that will rework on the pipes and the design will be surrounding the pipes. Continue to see Aquascape and reading the past threads is very beneficial.

Not a bad site really, especially the scape in the center. The rest more like man-made miniture. Speaking of that, I should move away from Angowat scape too and move nearer to the nature scape. I have some fantastic driftwoods. But haven't think how to reuse them with the pipes. I really must do some stuffs to test out first after CNY and try to brush up some skills from there. I could build the structure first. =) That should further my skill, just have to see if my 9th region is acceptable to this skillset or not, if yes, should take less than 1 year to master it.

i think you should learn from the basic of growing plant first, how to control algae/lighting/CO2, etc etc... if you are going for aquascaping.

blue blue, you have to understand I am still under treatment for thyroid hormone imbalance for hyperactiveness (at least medication for next 1.5years). Triggering it would means massive postings from me, not really good for AQ...

Ha..there are two such condition, the other one is hyper depression. Hyper activiness also means, work fast, think fast, walk fast, etc until the state that you can't sleep the whole night suddenly. Woman..ha ha..still got qiu qiu I don't think so.

Camazol Carbimazole yep. Almost did not sleep last night...ha. Last blood test result is ok, just have to watch it first. Yes, I try to do things during weekends not weekdays. I still working in call centre, environment does not allow me to chitchat on handphone. Taking rest is important, if not I can show sudden inactivity which might scare the rest. Last scare? Last month only. Advice taken.

So lim, how about a full photo update of your viva at the moment. I'd love to see how many pockets of hidding ground you have currently for the fish. At night usually they will hide, even in between ferns, etc. I saw "slot-in" resting during the observation of my tanks.

Pict 1 and 3 the protruding stick look like rock, look like rotted leave..incredible how you create this effect...^^" I see you removed the previous pictures...can't do a comparison. 800x600 can strink to 200x150 make it 4 tiles pictures into 1 pict. Sure can see the effect of your transformation better.

not really misting its water stain which i am trying to scrap off with a razor blade ,
