In long run, liquid tester is more reliable than strip tester and cheaper. i bough the JBL 5 in one test strip at Colourful. NA is selling cheaper.

You should consider the API Test kits instead, you spend a bit more at first, but the test results are more accurate, easier to read and its cheaper per test than using dipping strip type tests.
I wouldn't advise using these 5-in-1 kits. The price per strip isn't very cheap as compared to using individual liquid test kits on the long run. Also, the readings are more accurate using individual kits. So you have to decide if you are keeping inverts on a long term basis or for short period.
accurate or not? I'm not too sure myself. nothing to compare as I only have that kit. Bought it on impulse at C328 when cycling tank (impatient). haha. JBL mentions that to get more accurate test result, you can try their liquid drop test kits!!!! they should have mentioned that on the box not on the leaflet in the kit.
All is not lost though, you can use the strips as a quick occasional test of general tank parameters, then retest with the liquid test kits if anything seems to be awry.
Then test your tanks with the liquid test kits at longer intervals or when you have more spare time on your hands.
In a sense there is a place for them, but its not as a substitute to the individual liquid test kits.
