It is possible that it already died and the body was eaten by other fish or snails in your tank. Otos do not have the habit of jumping out of the tank, but die easily if not given enough food or a proper environment.
my tank only got 2 oto but is missing now. there is no it will sucked to my canister. checked all the hiding area in my scape but still no available. checked my floor area also dont have. where will it be??

one of my oto jumped out of my uncovered tank. Maybe check under the cabinet/stand or something.
i search high and low also cannot find the oto. my tank only got 2 oto. no snail no other fish. is really missing
What type of fish you have in your tank?
i think your family member might throw it away for you since there is no other fish in your tank.
