Clear Hose

Hi friends,

Anyone using clear hose for filter piping? Does it pose any problems such as stiffness or leaks compared to the usual green colour hose? Can't seem to find any LFS that sells clear hose. Where can I get them?

Are you refering to those normal water pipe hose, i'm using that for my filter so far no problem at all. You can get them at any hardware shop.

Thanks Robin. Just wondering how come no LFS sells them. Seems like can only get from hardware shop.

May I know how long you have been using these hoses? Do they leak after some time?

Hi i have been using them since day 1 i start my planted tank, so far no issue at all the only thing is you can see the dirt inside the hose as it is transparent
